本課程說明什麼是電子商務、涵蓋範圍及其發展過程，希望同學對電子商務課題有廣泛性了解。同學學習及理解整個電子商務的觀念，以期未來能在諸如臉書等商業平台上採用該商業模式。換句話說，學生將習得電子商務的基礎概念和技巧，透過案例分析，了解其運作模式和可能的安全性議題。
The objective of this course is to provide students with the concepts and techniques required in e-commerce. Students will learn the history and development of e-commerce, and will also acquire skills through case studies. Students will be able to understand basic concepts about e-commerce, how it functions and security issues.
