本課程旨在透過各種情境案例,展現因為不同文化差異所產生的溝通障礙;進一步深入探討引起誤解的原因,以及應如何因地制宜、妥善應對。此外,為了使學生能流利的介紹台灣的美食、文化和節慶,將穿插其他補充教材;以期利於將來推動台灣觀光,且培養學生就業時的國際視野及英語溝通能力。
This course aims to demonstrate the communication hindrances due to the cultural difference amongst countries and further analyze the possible causes of these misunderstandings. It is also necessary to explore how to cope with them properly according to the cultures. Meanwhile, supplementary teaching materials will be provided in order to enhance students’ ability of introducing Taiwan’s local delicacies, culture and festivals. It is to the benefit of promoting sight-seeing industry in Taiwan as well as cultivating student’s global view and communication skills
