This course is designed as an intensive teacher training program for students to become effective ESL/EFL teachers. It provides an overview of methods and approaches in teaching English.It also enables students to develop their knowledge in both theoretical principles and practical aspects for English teaching, particularly for course designs and teaching skills. It involves the development and evaluation of textbooks and lesson plans as well. Students are required to do the microteaching and present some selected chapters from the textbooks.
