臺灣社會與文化
臺灣有歷史記載四百餘年，在傳承先人思想、文化、文明的過程中，後人如何在大時代的『點』上，正確自我了解與面對未來，基本、客觀的認識是不可或缺的。
本課程本此理念，以對歷史負責態度，處理臺灣史料與論點，採專題講述漸進方式，達成對生於斯、長於斯的這塊土地，認真的認識它、了解它，進而愛惜它、保護它。

2.本課程本此理念，以對歷史負責態度，處理臺灣史料與論點，採專題講述漸進方式，達成對生於斯、長於斯的這塊土地，認真的認識它、了解它，進而愛惜它、保護它。

3.藉由課程中所安排的章節，以培養學生建立一良好的品格。如，在臺灣開發的章節中，讓學生能體悟先民在不同時代、不同環境下如何胼手胝足的努力奮鬥；在臺灣傳說故事一章中，說明如何藉由民間所流傳的故事或傳說，來達到對庶民由日常生活中體認品格的重要；另外，在臺灣民間信仰中，庶民所崇祀信奉的神祗，主要即是該神祗在未成神之前，因有良好的品德，為人民、為社會、為國家犧牲自己以成就大眾，而成為萬民敬仰之事例。藉由這些章節來加強學生對品德的重視。

4.對於文化傳承除了傳統的方式之外，能否與現代產業結合正是方興未艾的趨勢，更重要的如何落實產、學與文化結合，更應是本課程當前的目標。
