本課程係探討會展產業的基本概念、相關會展關鍵產業、實際國際會展活動操作、會展活動企劃、行銷活動規劃、及會展活動管理。大部分內容以實務操作管理為導向,在文中穿插奬勵旅遊及行銷相關之理論,但大多以國際會議、展覽活動,獎勵旅遊或特殊活動的實例來說明及探討。各章包括內容摘要、實務觀測站、互動思考、重要觀念、問題與討論等單元,供學生回顧所學過的理論與操作實務。現代餐旅採購是一種藝術也是一門動態的實用管理科學。它是餐旅企業營運成本控制之始,同時也是確保餐旅服務品質、降低成本創造利潤,提升餐旅企業市場競爭力的一種高度專業化的管理科學。
The curriculum is to explore the basic concept of MICE industry, the relevant key operators, the practical operation of international MICE activities, planning, marketing, and management. Most of the contents are [practical operation and management orientated], but mixed with some theories about the incentive travel and marketing. In general, examples are used to illustrate and explore the international conferences, exhibitions, incentive travel and special events. In each chapter, there are including a summary of the contents, case study, interactive thinking, important concepts, issues to be discussed which provide readers to review the theory and practical operation at the same time.
