聽說是屬於溝通互動的環節，因此本課程採用實地演練的方式，透過 CNN新聞和BBC新聞的時事，藉由不同的口音來訓練聽力，同時沿用時事帶出討論的主題。每單元會有字彙和句型的補充，期能透過這樣的策略使學生除了練習聽說，也能學習到教案的設計。

It helps to improve listening comprehension ability. Meanwhile, questions will be raised to further probe a specific issue in different fields.
