憲法與人民的生活緊密相連，人民的食衣住行皆離不開憲法。因此，本課程的重點，在於讓學生瞭解其基本權有什麼，以及相關的基本法律概念，同時，亦期使學生能夠對於我國的民主政治、民主概念及民主價值，特別是民主與法治間之連貫，皆能有進一步的瞭解。
With explicitly stating the protection of those basic rights found from everyday life, a country's constitution can ensure the well-being of the people it serves.
Constitution affects all areas of people's everyday life. And no one can live without it. Therefore, the purpose of this course is to explain what those basic rights are, and the implication of established laws based on those rights mentioned above. Also, upon completing of this course, students will have a better understanding about our country's current political system, the concept of democracy and its core value, with an emphasis on coherence between 'by the people' and 'the rule of law'.
