本課程主旨：配合課程標準，啟迪對傳統固有文化的認知，培養倫理道德觀念，並針對時代需求，充實學生人文素養，提升學生閱讀、鑑賞與寫作能力，使之成為術德兼備的時代青年。課程內容包括：經、史、子、集、通俗文學、學術思想流變等相關課文中，由淺入深，選取各時期具代表性的作品，深入講解，並引導學生進行討論。
1.透過課文的解說，傳達固有傳統文化的要義，使學生產生認同感與親切感，進而在文化的薰陶下培養出良好的德行。
2.配合課程目標，提升學生閱讀、鑑賞及寫作能力，啟迪文化意識，培養道德觀念，陶冶職業倫理。
