目前被廣泛運用的程式語言，大多數都是源自於C的語法結構發展而成。這些語言可描述為類C、C的方言或C系列程式語言。類C程式語言除了C家族的 C 與 C++之外，還有 C#、Python、Java、JavaScript、Perl、D、PHP、LPC…等等，這些程式語言有語法結構類似的共同特色。
本課程將以介紹 C/C++ 程式語言的方式，來奠定學生「類C」系列程式語言之程式設計法則、概念模型和運行環境的基礎知識與觀念，培養學生「類C」程式標準函式庫的使用，並能應用程式語言解決各類工程問題。
Most of the programming languages that are widely used at present are developed from the structure of C program syntax. These languages can be described as being C-like, being dialects of C, or the C-family programming languages. In addition to C and C++ of the C family, C-like programming languages also include C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, Perl, D, PHP, LPC...etc. These programming languages have common features similar to the program syntax.
This course will introduce the C/C++ programming language to lay the basic knowledge and concepts of programming paradigms, conceptual models, and run-time environments of the "C-like" series of programming languages for students, and cultivate students' "C-like" program standard library and can apply programming language to solve various engineering problems.
