英文(一)是一門培養英語聽、說、讀、寫基本能力的語言課程。課程內容以日常實用英語為主軸設計，透過不同的口語情境主題的及短文導讀，系統式字彙重複循環學習及文法結構的補強練習外，輔以不同文化背景的認識，在了解文化差異的同時，亦能於學習過程中培養英語之能力及奠定日後專業英文的基礎。

To prepare students for the business world, this course aims to provide them with the basic tools to communicate effectively in English in a variety of business situations. Various social and work-related topics are selected for practicing. Necessary cultural background information is also provided to deepen students’ understanding of the subjects. Throughout the course, students will build skills and confidence to communicate successfully in the global business world.
